JEA NEEDS YOUR HELP FOR AN EV RESEARCH STUDY

The Goal of the Study

Jacksonville is expected to see a 500% increase in EVs. JEA is conducting a twelve month EV Research Study to understand and forecast the impact of EV charging on the electric grid in the Jacksonville area. Your participation in this study will help JEA keep costs affordable, maintain grid reliability, and continue to provide excellent service to its customers as more and more EVs become operational.

Incentives

As a token of our appreciation, both study participants and referrals earn rewards:

Participants receive $7 per month once the study begins, for a total of $84 if enrolled for all 12 months. If you have multiple EVs, you can receive the incentive for each battery electric vehicle in your household, as long as they are not already enrolled in JEA’s Bring Your Own Charger (BYOC) program.
Referrers receive $50 for each EV they refer to the study. If you don’t have an EV but know a JEA customer who does, sign up, navigate to the Rewards tab, and share your unique referral link with your friends. You’ll get paid as soon as they enroll!
